Christy Ann grew up in North Jersey as the daughter of Anthony Saracino, a renowned monument carver from Fairview, NJ. Anthony’s father (Christy Ann’s grandfather) had founded the family monument business decades earlier, and the craft of designing beautiful memorials was in their blood. As a young girl, Christy Ann often accompanied her father to cemeteries and monument yards. She watched him chisel names and artistry into stone, and saw how those lasting tributes brought comfort to grieving families. These experiences left a deep impression on her heart. She learned that every monument – every final tribute – tells a story of a life well-lived, and that helping people remember their loved ones is a sacred responsibility.

Seeing Christy Ann’s compassion and interest, her father gently urged her to consider becoming a funeral director. He recognized that she had both the empathy and the determination suited for the profession. Inspired by his confidence in her and the family’s tradition of service, Christy Ann embraced the calling. All three of her brothers carried on the monument business as skilled memorial dealers, while Christy Ann took a slightly different path – one that would allow her to care for families in a more comprehensive way at their time of need.
